Philosophy

As a holistic learning environment, our program encourages natural learning through art, music, stories, drama and play. The magic and wonder of childhood is protected through an approach that nurtures the young child’s healthy physical, emotional and mental development.

Our emphasis is the whole-child. We believe in the organic process to creative learning, which promotes social development, self-esteem and independence; allowing children to satisfy their natural curiosity and immersion into joyful, lifelong education and discovery.

The development of communication skills, empathy, respect for self and others, taking responsibility for one’s actions, conflict resolution, cooperation and collaboration skills is deeply valued. There are also opportunities to develop “intrapersonal” (knowledge of self) intelligence through reflection, guided experiences, emotional awareness and self-esteem enhancement.
